These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GSG Academy ("the App"), operated by German Standard Veterinary Medicines Trading LLC ("the Company", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the United Arab Emirates. The App is developed by Novamind Technologies. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms in their entirety.
1. Eligibility
The App is intended for veterinary professionals, students, and industry personnel aged 18 and above. By registering, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and that the information you provide is accurate and truthful.
2. Account Registration and Security
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account, including your real name, valid email address, and professional role. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@gsgroup.co if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false, misleading, or incomplete information.
3. Professional Conduct
As a platform serving the veterinary profession, you agree to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times. You shall not: misrepresent your credentials, specialties, qualifications, or professional status; post content that is defamatory, obscene, threatening, or otherwise objectionable; harass, bully, or intimidate other users; send spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or chain messages; attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or data; use the App for any illegal or unauthorised purpose; or interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure or other users' experience. Violation of these standards may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination at our sole discretion.
4. Certificate Verification
Certificates uploaded to the App are subject to automated and manual verification processes, including optical character recognition (OCR). Uploading fraudulent, forged, altered, or misleading documents is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension and may be reported to relevant professional authorities. We make reasonable efforts to verify certificates but do not guarantee the accuracy of verification results.
5. Courses and Educational Content
The App provides educational courses for continuing professional development purposes only. Course content does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. Course content is owned by the respective lecturers and/or the Company. Completion of courses does not guarantee any specific professional outcome, certification, or licensure. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or resell course content without prior written permission.
6. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of content you create and post on the App (posts, case studies, comments, messages). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and make available your content within the App for the purpose of operating the platform. You represent and warrant that you have the right to post such content and that it does not infringe any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms without prior notice.
7. Messaging
The messaging feature is intended for professional communication related to veterinary practice, education, and networking. We reserve the right to use automated tools to monitor communications for compliance with these Terms, including detection of spam, harassment, and prohibited content. You may block other users at any time through the App settings.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, code, logos, trademarks, and all content provided by the Company (excluding user-generated content), is the exclusive property of German Standard Veterinary Medicines Trading LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the App or its content without our prior written consent.
9. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the App, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your conduct may harm the platform, other users, or the Company. You may delete your account at any time through the App settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data retention requirements.
11. Disclaimers
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content posted by users or lecturers.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunity, or professional reputation, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability, or any other legal theory.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third party's rights.
14. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to you via push notification or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App and delete your account.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
